Noah (formerly known as Peterpan; and later stylized as NOAH) are an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Andika as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist.
He is the lead singer of the Indonesian band Noah, formerly known as Peterpan. [2] Ariel founded Peterpan in Bandung in 2000 with Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza, and Uki. Peterpan's second album Bintang di Surga (2004) is one of the best-selling albums of all time in Indonesia.
The band released six albums during Reza's tenure: Taman Langit, Bintang di Surga, Ost. Alexandria, Hari Yang Cerah, Sebuah Nama Sebuah Cerita and Seperti Seharusnya. Reza played drums with a band called Tridia when Peterpan was on hiatus in 2011. [2] He left Noah in January 2015 to pursue religious studies. [1]

Loekman joined Peterpan in 2000. At that time, the band had three members: Ariel, Uki, and Reza. [1] Together with Peterpan, Loekman released six albums: Taman Langit, Bintang di Surga, Ost. Alexandria, Hari Yang Cerah, Sebuah Nama Sebuah Cerita and an instrumental album, Suara Lainnya. [1]
The two formed a band called Peppermint. After Peppermint, Uki and Ariel formed a band called Sliver and Cholesterol, together Qibil and Erick. The two next joined the group Topi, with Uki playing rhythm. Uki next joined Peterpan (now Noah). He founded his own record label named Masterplan Records and formed his own band, called Astoria.
Taman Langit is the second re-recorded album by the Indonesian rock band Noah.It is a re-recording of their first album Taman Langit, which was released in 2003 when they were named Peterpan, and is the second album in Noah's project to re-record their songs from the Peterpan era.
