Goblin wolfriders are too cliche for my liking. Dinosaurs (which could just be a refluffed wolf) are only marginally better, being the WoW cliche. Spiders are fun - but can travel on walls and ceilings, and may not be every GM's hot dream. I had a goblin that rode a gorilla, once. That GM sorely regretted his mistake.
