In order to build more Ridgelines, Honda would have to expand an existing factory or building an additional factory. That takes years of planning and hundreds of millions of dollars. If the market changes during that time and demand for the Ridgeline drops, Honda just wasted a lot of money.

Patiently waiting for info on 2025. Ideal for me would be Diffused Sky Pearl, Black Edition, AND brown leather interior. Or heck, just let me add all of the Black Edition exclusives as options in the lower trims. I do not think that is possible or I would have enhanced the Trail Sport.
OTOH, if the vtec J35 is absolutely non-compliant after 2024/2025, then the Ridgeline/Passport/Odyssey will get the new V6 sooner than later. As for MDX, perhaps the higher-octane requirements help squeeze it by emissions standards.
The Ridgeline sells in low numbers, compared to other Honda vehicles. I can’t imagine Honda spending more time and money developing a ‘25 model with a 10-speed transmission, or a hybrid engine or a plug-in hybrid engine either, as the dubious videos have conjectured.
