The Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) is an autonomous organization acting as a nodal agency for basic, strategic, anticipatory and applied research on various aspects of horticulture such as fruits, vegetable, ornamental, medicinal and aromatic plants and mushrooms in India. [1]
IIHR is a recognized partner of the United Nations and has consultative status with ECOSOC and UNESCO. It also collaborates with other international and regional organizations, including the Council of Europe, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the African Union.
