Richard Kruspe (born Sven Kruspe; [1] [2] 24 June 1967) is a German musician. He is best known as one of the founders and the lead guitarist of the Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein, as well as the frontman of the industrial metal band Emigrate.

Heinz was born in Detmold, Germany, but from the age of seven was brought up in Eastleigh, Hampshire, England. [2] His German [3] father had been killed during World War II and his mother decided to move to Britain.
