Non-English vernacular names, when relevant to include, are handled like any other non-English terms: italicized as such, and capitalized only if the rules of the native language require it. Non-English names that have become English-assimilated are treated as English ( ayahuasca , okapi ).
The United Nations updated their Editorial Manual to include that "Indigenous should be capitalized when referring to cultures, communities, lands, languages, etc., of Indigenous Peoples, e.g.: Indigenous culture in Ecuador, Indigenous languages are dying out. I am in doubt whether solar system should be capitalized because I can't think of any uses of the term outside of astronomical use. When it is used some sources including the article title on Wikipedia capitalize it. Other sources like Britannica and many dictionaries leave it lowercase. Feel free to discuss your comments here.
"State" should be capitalized when referring to the government of the state or the official name of the state, but otherwise not. -Rrius 18:55, 15 April 2010 (UTC) My question was intended to get a better idea of whether there is a need for the addition. I agree that "state" should not be capitalized in "state of _____".
