William Byron Lee (born October 9, 1959) is an American businessman and politician who has served as the 50th governor of Tennessee since 2019. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] A member of the Republican Party , Lee was president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Lee Company, a business operated by his family, from 1992 to 2016.
Incumbent Republican governor Bill Lee was re-elected to a second term with almost 65% of the vote, improving on his performance from 2018.
