Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa (born 10 August 2005) is an Indian chess grandmaster currently ranked 14th in the world (7th in live ratings). His greatest career achievements so far are reaching the final of the Chess World Cup 2023 (which qualified him for the Candidates Tournament 2024 where he finished 5th/8) and winning the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2025.
Divya Deshmukh (born 9 December 2005) is an Indian chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster and International Master. [2] She is a three-time gold medalist at the Olympiad. Deshmukh has also won multiple golds at the Asian Championship, the World Junior Championship as well as the World Youth Championship. [3]
To achieve the title, players must win three norm tournaments – competitions which themselves must meet certain criteria – and surpass an International Chess Federation (FIDE) rating of 2500.

He is the 10th youngest player in history and the 4th youngest Indian to be awarded the title as of December 2023. Raunak was U-10 Commonwealth Champion in 2015 in New Delhi, India. [3]
