Chimie ParisTech, officially École nationale supérieure de chimie de Paris (French pronunciation: [ekɔl nɑsjɔnal sypeʁjœʁ də ʃimi də paʁi]; "National High School of Chemistry of Paris") and also known as ENSCP or Chimie Paris, is a prestigious grande école and a constituent college of PSL Research University specialised in chemical science.
The undergraduate program of Paris Cité University is selective, with an acceptance rate of 11% (for Descartes campuses only). Admission to the second year of the university's master programs is selective as well, some of these programs admitting only 1.7% of applicants which can represent 25 students by programs.
The École des Chartes was created by order of Louis XVIII on 22 February 1821, [4] although its roots are in the Revolution and the Napoleonic period.
