The National Inventory of Dams defines any "major dam" as being 50 feet (15 m) tall with a storage capacity of at least 5,000 acre-feet (6,200,000 m 3 ), or of any height with a storage capacity of 25,000 acre-feet (31,000,000 m 3 ).

Bay Shipbuilding Company (BSC) is a shipyard and dry dock company in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin.As of 2015, Bay Ships was a subsidiary of Fincantieri Marine Group and produces articulated tug and barges, OPA-90 compliant double hull tank ships and offshore support vessels. [1]

A dry dock (sometimes drydock or dry-dock) is a narrow basin or vessel that can be flooded to allow a load to be floated in, then drained to allow that load to come to rest on a dry platform.
The Chittenango Landing dry docks were constructed in 1856 as part of the enlarged canal expansion of the original "Clinton ditch" canal. Due to the similarity in construction with other nearby dry docks in Newark, Albion, and Middleport the Chittenango docks were possibly constructed by the same contractor.
