The Washington & Jefferson Presidents football team has represented Washington & Jefferson College in intercollegiate college football competition since 1890. The team has competed in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III since its formation in 1973. [1]
Mike Sirianni (born March 22, 1972) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach for Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania, a position he has held since the 2003 season after succeeding Pittsburgh Steelers great John Banaszak.
The team has had 30 head coaches coach since it started playing organized football in 1890. They played their first season without a head coach. Three coaches have led Washington & Jefferson College to NCAA Division III playoffs: John Luckhardt, John Banaszak, and Mike Sirianni.
