Due to the large size of the heavy s-block elements, including strontium, a vast range of coordination numbers is known, from 2, 3, or 4 all the way to 22 or 24 in SrCd 11 and SrZn 13. The Sr 2+ ion is quite large, so that high coordination numbers are the rule. [16]
A period 5 element is one of the chemical elements in the fifth row (or period) of the periodic table of the chemical elements.The periodic table is laid out in rows to illustrate recurring (periodic) trends in the chemical behaviour of the elements as their atomic number increases: a new row is begun when chemical behaviour begins to repeat, meaning that elements with similar behaviour fall ...

A chemical element, often simply called an element, is a type of atom which has a specific number of protons in its atomic nucleus (i.e., a specific atomic number, or Z). [ 1 ] The definitive visualisation of all 118 elements is the periodic table of the elements , whose history along the principles of the periodic law was one of the founding ...
Handling of these element infoboxes is hardcoded in the meta-infobox, set by |number= (Z). Theoretical element: above-header shows; Theoretical element Applied: when element is theoretical (E119 and higher). No article "Isotopes of <element>": Header does not link; E119: Main isotopes of ununennium E121: Main isotopes of unbiunium
This is a list of chemical elements and their atomic properties, ordered by atomic number (Z). Since valence electrons are not clearly defined for the d-block and f-block elements, there not being a clear point at which further ionisation becomes unprofitable, a purely formal definition as number of electrons in the outermost shell has been used.
The template takes parameter number= (atomic number). When this number is >118, the template expands with periods 8 and above, adding the (predicted) elements with atomic number >119. Apart from this 118/119 switching, the parameter is not used as an atomic number. {{Periodic table (32 columns, micro) | number = 119}}
This table lists only the occurrences in compounds and complexes, not pure elements in their standard state or allotropes. Noble gas +1 Bold values are main oxidation states
