The Sarajevo War Theatre (Bosnian: Sarajevski ratni teatar / Сарајевски ратни театар, SARTR) is a theatre in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It was founded on 17 May 1992 on the initiative of Dubravko Bibanović, Gradimir Gojer , Đorđe Mačkić and Safet Plakalo during the Siege of Sarajevo .
The Memory Modul is a cultural project initiated by the festival in 1995 with the goal of preserving the memory of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The InterDance Fest is the largest contemporary dance festival in Southeastern Europe. The Sarajevo Evenings of Music (SVEM) is an international multi-day contemporary instrumental music festival which annually takes place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established by the Music Arts Foundation and is held in May. [ 1 ]
