Hello there. I have recently bought an HD60 S+, and today when I wanted to use it, I saw that no matter what I do, the only thing that I'm getting on my 4K Capture Utility software is a black screen. It's not a "No Signal" problem, mind you. The software is seemingly getting a signal, but all it ever shows is a black screen.
The 4K utility, and the 4K capture card for that matter, has proven inferior to anything else Elgato has made. The 4K utility program is a mess and it doesn't work most of the time. The video is choppy even on a good setup, hell, even when using 2 different setups so the main PC doesn't put resources to the capture program, and the audio is ...
I found an older post from 2018 with a similar issue and followed their directions. Essentially they said to open Regedit and hit F3, search for 4k Capture and then delete the files in the elgato folder that comes up after the search finishes. Then I reinstalled the latest update and everything works again.
The thing is that with the Game Capture HD software has zero latency as the other user says, but with the 4k Capture (it's supposed to be "newer" version of the Game Capture withouth the streaming part) so... i thought it should work the same or better but seems that it have some latency and its not "Instant Gameview" like the Game Capture HD or could it be that I have something misconfigured?
Hi - Depending on what resolution the 4K60 Pro MK.2 is capturing, the 4K Capture Utility software preview will have more or less delay as it processes the frames. You could use other software such as OBS Studio which may have a lower preview delay, however you're still looking at 60 milliseconds or more of added latency.
4K Capture Utility is typically simpler to use, and has some extra features for the card such as being able to change a few settings OBS cannot access. That said, OBS is a significantly more complex program with more features, and the ability to run plugins which adds even more ability. It also has more support for non-NVidia hardware encoders ...
Capture 1080p 60fps from an Xbox. Crop and save from within the same software (exactly like the older Game Capture software) I’m not concerned about streaming or 4K, just the 2 points above. Any suggested alternatives to the 4K Capture Utility would be appreciated. Would be good if the HD60 X worked with the older Game Capture software but it ...
However, on the 4K capture utility it's jittery like it's stuttering but not necessarily behind the image playing on my TV. The videos I capture look fine when played back with no stuttering. It just shows the stuttering on the 4K Capture Utility window. I have tried lowering my frame rate on my PC to 60hz from 120hz thinking that would do ...
4k Capture Utility flickering issue. Hi all, I have an Elgato 4K60 Pro MK2 capture card, to my PS5. Recently I noticed when I launch the 4K Capture Utility, it's just flickering like crazy. The HDMI Out source is fine though, it looks normal to me on my screen and in my OBS, it's only in the recording software.
Go into your audio settings. And where it says "input" set it to the hd60 x. And set your OUTPUT to your headphones THEN go to "properties" under the "HD60 x INPUT and you should see "additional audio properties" (perhaps to the far right of your screen like mine is). click on that. And it should bring up the properties.
