The Dixie Flagler was a streamlined passenger train operated by the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) between Chicago, Illinois and Miami, Florida.It began in 1939 as the Henry M. Flagler, a regional service between Miami and Jacksonville, Florida; the FEC renamed it and extended it to Chicago a year later.
The restaurant was founded in 2022 by Giovanni Fernandez, Justin Levaughn, Sean Pagan & Christipher Munro. The bar is heavily influenced by Fernandez's grandfather, who owned a neighborhood bar in Manzanillo, Cuba during the height of Cuba's cocktail renaissance in the 1950s. [2]
It originally closed at Universal Orlando in 2003, only to be reopened again in 2010 under a new name, Triceratops Discovery Trail. [6] The attraction closed at Universal Orlando again soon thereafter. It opened at Universal Orlando once again in 2011 under its original name, but it was not long before the attraction permanently closed in 2012.

At Wildwood, Florida, the train was split roughly in half into east and west coast sections. The east coast section continued to Miami and retained the tavern-observation car, and after 1956, the train's Sun Lounge. The west coast section continued to Tampa and eventually St. Petersburg, operating as trains 157 southbound and 158 northbound.
