Meadows Shopping Center (often called "The Meadows") is an enclosed shopping center in Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. It opened in 1956 as an open-air shopping center and was enclosed in a 1982–1983 renovation.
Terre Haute was laid out and platted in 1836. [2] The community was so named on account of its lofty elevation, Terre Haute being a name derived from the French meaning "high ground". [ 2 ] A post office called Terre Haute was established in 1846, and discontinued in 1900.

Champaign County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 38,714. [2] Its county seat and largest city is Urbana. [3] The county takes its name from the French word for "open level country". [4] Champaign County became the 18th of 88 Ohio counties on March 1, 1805.

US 36 then travels on a somewhat straight route toward Urbana, serving SR 589 between Fletcher and west of Conover, Lena, SR 235, St. Paris, SR 560 in Westville, SR 29 between west and east of downtown Urbana, US 68 in downtown, and SR 54 east of downtown. East of Urbana, US 36 begins to wind a little bit.
