The Catan Historical Scenarios series (not to be confused with the Catan Histories series) is a series of otherwise independent board games that required parts from Settlers to play. As with Settlers itself, 5-6 player play in these scenarios required the use of the 5-6 player extensions.

Catan Historical Scenarios II: Troy and Great Wall (German: Die Siedler von Catan Historische Szenarien II: Troja & Die Große Mauer) is the second Historical Scenario expansion to the Settlers of Catan game, released in 2001 by Kosmos, though other distributors have redistributed this with a rules translation (such as the English-language Mayfair Games).
The developer has acquired the license for Settlers of Catan, one of the most respected board games in the industry, for a cross-platform MMO known as Catan World.

In Settlers of Canaan, the robber tile of Catan is replaced by the "plague" tile. The tiles work the same way, which is to stop any production on a hex. The plague tile can be "cleansed" (moved) through the use of a "priest"; itself a replacement of the knight or soldier card in Catan.
