The SR engine is a series of 1.6 L (1,596 cc), 1.8 L (1,838 cc) or 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four, four-stroke gasoline engines manufactured by Nissan. It has an aluminium head and block with steel sleeves and has a DOHC 4-valve design, with variable valve timing on select models. It was added to a new engine family name PLASMA (Powerful ...
The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four four-stroke gasoline engine that is part of the SR family of engines from Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the CA18DET engine. Like with the outgoing CA18DET, the SR20DET was a turbocharged intercooled engine in top form.
Another version of the VVL SR engines, is the 1.6 L SR16VE. The engine block for the SR16VE is the same as the SR20VE; it also has the same cylinder bore. The crankshaft has a shorter stroke, which lowers the displacement, but allows the engine to safely rev to higher RPM. Although this engine has 1.6 L of displacement, it has more aggressive ...
The W11 model was introduced early in 1998. Initially available with the 1.8 L QG18DE, 2.0 L SR20DE, 2.0 L SR20DET or the 2.0-litre CD20ET2 turbo-diesel. The QG18DE models were FWD only and available with either a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission, the SR20DE models were an FWD 4-speed automatic or CVT transmission with 6-speed tiptronic function, the 4WD continued to be ...

In 1991, however, the engine was upgraded to a 2.0 liter model, offered in two forms: the turbocharged SR20DET variant and the naturally aspirated SR20DE engine, which was introduced in 1996. Although the new engine was of larger displacement, the 180SX nomenclature remained. 180SX was also a trim level of the S110 Silvia in Europe. The badges ...
The Nissan S20 engine 2.0 L (1,989 cc) [a] was a straight-6 four-valve DOHC internal combustion engine produced by Nissan from 1969 to 1973, originally designed by engineers of the former Prince. It was the first mass-produced Japanese engine with more than two valves per cylinder.
220 hp (164 kW) at 2600 rpm, Minimum fuel grade 100 or 100LL avgas, RH95/130 or B95/130 CIS, compression ratio 7.50:1. Same as the TSIO-360-KB except the manifold pressure is controlled with a wastegate controller, an intercooler is installed in the induction system, and uses a Precision Airmotive RSA-5AD2 fuel injection servo.
