Lenexa / l ɪ ˈ n ɛ k s ə / is a city in Johnson County, Kansas, United States, [1] and part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census , the population of the city was 57,434. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] making it the 9th most populated city in Kansas.
