The first model homes were completed in August 1974 and the first families moved into their homes in October that year. Colony Ridge is a collection of subdivisions in unincorporated Liberty County, Texas, United States. It is approximately 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Downtown Houston. [1] The Colony Ridge subdivisions have been developed by Colony Ridge, LLC, led by brothers John Harris and William Trey Harris.
