Thomas & Friends is a British children's television series based on The Railway Series, created by the Rev. W. Thomas is after a replacement funnel, although the only replacement is strangely shaped and brightly-colored. However, with everyone laughing at him, it proves Thomas' job of taking bubble liquid to Mr. Bubbles' show to be a bit of a slippy mess for Mr. Bubbles and the Fat Controller.
Thomas and James are supposed to work together by collecting passengers for the match but end up racing each other instead. James forgets the Barrow football team at Brendam Docks and Thomas forgets to pick up the Fat Controller. Only when James and Thomas puff up to the football pitch entrance do they see only the Sodor United team there.
