DeVilbiss Automotive Refinishing is an American manufacturer of spray guns, airbrushes, and related products for paint and lacquer coating applications. The company was founded in 1907 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.
With the unrivaled popularity of their 1888-model Daisy BB Guns, the company changed the name to Daisy Manufacturing Company in 1895 and switched their business to solely producing air guns for sale. Throughout the 20th century, Daisy has been known as a company that makes and sells BB guns and pellet youth rifles .
The main company was founded in 1984. In 1999 Devilbiss Air Power Co. was acquired by Pentair. [1] Pentair sold the company to Black & Decker in 2004. FLIT manual spray pump for insecticides from 1928. A Flit gun is a hand-pumped insecticide sprayer used to dispense FLIT, a brand-name insecticide widely used against flies and mosquitoes between 1928 and the mid-1950s. Although named after the well-known brand, "Flit gun" became a generic name for this type of dispenser. [1]
