The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), [1] abbreviated GDPR, is a European Union regulation on information privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
The Data Act is a European Union regulation which aims to facilitate and promote the exchange and use of data within the European Economic Area. [ 1 ] The act was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 22 December 2023.
The Data Protection Directive, officially Directive 95/46/EC, enacted in October 1995, was a European Union directive which regulated the processing of personal data within the European Union (EU) and the free movement of such data.
