The Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center is a museum building within the Utah Olympic Park in Summit County, Utah, United States, that houses both the Alf Engen Ski Museum and the Eccles Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum, as well as the main offices of the Utah Athletic Foundation (also known as the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation).
Short track speed skating at the 2002 Winter Olympics was held from 13 to 23 February. Eight events were contested at Salt Lake Ice Center (normally called Delta Center ). Two new events were added for these games, with the men's and women's 1500 metres making debuts.

Following the Olympics, the arch was moved to the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Cauldron Park at the University of Utah where, along with the Olympic cauldron, it was one of the main features and an important part of Salt Lake's Olympic legacy. In August 2014, the arch was removed from the park [1] and placed in storage, where 29 pieces were stolen. [2]
