The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) is a professional independent baseball league based in the United States. It is an official MLB Partner League [2] [3] based in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States, and the headquarters are located at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The 2023 Atlantic League season was the 26th season of the Atlantic League. There was a ten-team 126-game schedule. The Spire City Ghost Hounds were introduced to the league. The Lancaster Barnstormers defeated the Gastonia Honey Hunters in the championship series, capturing their second consecutive championship and 4th in franchise history.
The team's creation was announced on September 1, 2021, with the intent to start playing in 2023. [1] The delay to 2024 was announced in March 2022 based on the time needed to complete the stadium.
