The Ferrara Bible was a 1553 publication of a Judeo-Spanish version of the Hebrew Bible used by Sephardi Jews.It was paid for and made by Yom-Tob ben Levi Athias (the Portuguese marrano known before his return to Judaism as Alvaro de Vargas, [a] as typographer) and Abraham Usque (the Portuguese marrano Duarte Pinhel, as translator), and was dedicated to Ercole II d'Este, Duke of Ferrara.

It is a medieval picture Bible.The Morgan Bible originally contained 48 folios; of these, 43 still reside in the Morgan Museum, two are in the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris, one is in the J. His first edition Biblia Hebraica edidit Rudolf Kittel (BH 1) was published as a two-volume work in 1906 under the publisher J. C. Hinrichs in Leipzig.
The large manuscript contains a text of the Vulgate, bound in 2 volumes of 482 and 622 pages each.It was intended for display rather than for daily consultation. The two volumes are decorated with 35 miniatures at the head of each book, illustrating a scene from the first chapter of the book and forming small independent paintings.
