Acre (/ ˈ ɑː k ər, ˈ eɪ k ər / AH-kər, AY-kər), known in Hebrew as Akko (Hebrew: עַכּוֹ, ʻAkkō) and in Arabic as Akka (Arabic: عكّا, ʻAkkā), is a city in the coastal plain region of the Northern District of Israel.
