Ahmet Ertegun (/ ˈ ɑː m ɛ t ˈ ɛər t ə ɡ ən / AH-met AIR-tə-gən; Turkish: Ahmet Zahrettin Sebuhi Ertegün, pronounced [ahˈmet eɾteˈɟyn]; July 31, 1923 – December 14, 2006) was a Turkish-American businessman, songwriter, record executive and philanthropist. The Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert was a benefit concert held in memory of music executive Ahmet Ertegun at the O2 Arena in London on 10 December 2007. The headline act was the English rock band Led Zeppelin , who performed their first full-length concert in almost three decades, since the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, in a one-off reunion.
In 1956, the song was covered by Pat Boone, whose version made no. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. [3]Another commercially successful version was by Bobby Bland, whose recording reached no. 9 on the R&B chart and no. 60 on the Hot 100 in 1969.
