Zofii w Kijowie, Latin: Sancta Sophia, Capitulo et Canonicis Cathedralis Ecclesiae Kioviencis) also called Catholic Cathedral of St. Sophia is the name given to a Catholic cathedral that was in the city of Kyiv, the capital of the European country of Ukraine.
The preserve was established in place of the cathedral of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church that was dissolved in 1930. The museum's responsibilities were gradually expanded to other historic locations of Kyiv. In 1994, the reserve was accorded its current status as being National. Both St. Andrew and St. Cyril churches are acting.
In 1930, the bell tower together with St. Sophia Cathedral was closed for worship and became a part of the All-Ukrainian Museum Complex, which was established in 1926 in the area of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Probably, all the bells were removed from the bell tower at that time, except for Mazepa.

Saint Sophia Cathedral (Ukrainian: Кафедральний собор св. Софії; Polish: Katedra Świętej Zofii) is a Catholic church that serves as the principal church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kyiv-Zhytomyr, Ukraine. The temple was built between 1746 and 1748 and was founded by Bishop Samuel Jan Ozga.
