"Same Old Story" is a 1986 by the British new wave band Ultravox. It was the first single to be taken from their eighth album U-Vox , and was released on 15 September 1986. [ 1 ]
Ultravox's 11th studio album, Brill!ant, was released on 28 May 2012. [26] Following this release the band embarked on the 'Brilliant Tour' performing shows across the UK and Europe in late 2012. On 30 November 2013, Ultravox performed their last show at The O2 Arena in London, as special guests on a four date UK arena tour with Simple Minds.

John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh; 26 September 1948) [1] [2] is an English singer, musician, artist, photographer, graphic designer, writer, teacher and lecturer. He was the original lead singer of the new wave band Ultravox, before leaving to embark on a solo career in 1980 with the album Metamatic.

Extended Ultravox is an Ultravox compilation of 12" extended versions of various Ultravox singles from the years 1980–1986 (the period with Midge Ure as frontman). The album was released in 1998. The tracks on the discs are all extended mixes of Ultravox singles, available on their respective 12" versions.
