    And '夕' (xī) means the end. But I also read that Chuseok is sometimes called Hankawi. That is 한가위 or '中秋节' in Hanja. As we already said '秋' is Autumn. I think '节' means an important time. But, strangely, '中' means middle. To make this ultimately confusing, Chuseok is celebrated on August 15th in the lunar calendar.
