Stillwater is the tenth-largest city in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, and the seat of Payne County. It is located in north-central Oklahoma at the intersection of U.S. Route 177 and State Highway 51. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 48,394.

Payne County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.As of the 2020 census, its population was 81,646. [1] Its county seat is Stillwater. [2] The county was created in 1890 as part of Oklahoma Territory and is named for Capt. David L. Payne, a leader of the "Boomers".
Wilson High School is a secondary school in Wilson, Oklahoma, U.S.A. with 483 students. [1] It serves grades 9 through 12, and includes an alternative high school program. The current building was built in 1978–79, replacing one built in 1917–18. [2] They teach History, Music, Math, English, Art, Physical Education.
The Oklahoma State Cowgirls softball team represents Oklahoma State University–Stillwater in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Big 12 Conference. The Cowgirls are currently led by head coach Kenny Gajewski. The team plays its home games at Cowgirl Stadium located on the university's campus. [2]
