The Key West Historic District (also known as Old Town of the City of Key West) is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on March 11, 1971) located in Key West, Florida. It encompasses approximately 4,000 acres (16 km 2 ), bounded by White, Angela, Windsor, Passover, Thomas and Whitehead Streets, and the Gulf of Mexico .
The "Old Town" neighborhood is located on the west side of the island and is within the Key West Historic District. The district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). [1] The property has served various uses: as a grocery and butcher shop, a residence with a doctor's office, a boardinghouse, and a bed and breakfast inn.
