Lincoln City Hall is the former seat of the Lincoln, Nebraska city government. The hall was built from 1874-1879 as the U.S. Post Office and Court House, designed by the office of the U.S. Treasury Department's architect, Alfred B. Mullett. A new post office and court house was built in 1906 and the property was transferred to the city.

The Frank H. Woods Telephone Museum is located at 2047 "M" Street in Lincoln, Nebraska. [1] [2] Its goal is to educate the general public about the history of the telephone industry. The museum was featured in the 2008 Film Yes Man starring Jim Carrey.
In August 2023, the Nebraska Department of Corrections purchased a 300 acre parcel north of Lincoln [1] on which a new 1,512 capacity multi-custody replacement facility for the penitentiary will be constructed. [2] Construction of the facility is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2024 with an anticipated completion date of the fall of 2026.
Among the building's features are the Gothic windows at the top. In June 2009, the Lincoln Building was renamed One Grand Central Place, and it underwent a $85 million renovation, which included new windows, renovated elevators, renovated air-conditioned public corridors and restrooms, and upgraded building-wide systems.
