Dave's Falls is a waterfall in Marinette County, Wisconsin, 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Amberg, in the town of Amberg. It is off U.S. Highway 141 between Old 38 Road and Old Highway 141 Road. White Water
Thunder River is a tributary of the Peshtigo River in Marinette County, Wisconsin. [1] [2] The Thunder River originates in northern Oconto County near Thunder Mountain and travels downslope into Marinette County past a waterfall known as Veteran Falls to the Peshtigo River.
It is a tributary of the Menominee River and its entire length is in Marinette County. The North and South Branch of the Pike River meet just above Dave's Falls near US 141 1 mile west of Amberg. From Dave's Falls the Pike River flows east and south to the Menominee River, joining it below the White Rapids Dam.
From 13 miles (21 km) upriver on through the park the Menominee River is a wild and scenic route for canoes and kayaks. This stretch is largely broad and gentle, with a few rapids and a waterfall requiring portages. There are three non-reservable campsites along the river, accessible to paddlers or hikers.
It is a tributary of the Menominee River and flows through Marinette County. It is formed by the confluence of its North and South branches. The North Branch contains a waterfall known as Long Slide Falls. The Pemebonwon River empties into the Menominee River 10 miles (16 km) east of Pembine, Wisconsin.
