Clearview Arena (formerly the RMU Island Sports Center Ice Arena, 84 Lumber Arena and Colonials Arena) is a 1,200-seat ice hockey rink [5] located in the RMU Island Sports Center. Robert Morris University and 84 Lumber reached a deal by which 84 Lumber would receive naming rights as of March 21, 2012. [ 6 ]
The complex is located in Neville Island, only a few miles from RMU's campus in Moon Township. [5] Just 12 days later, on August 20, 2003, Robert Morris athletic director Susan Hofacre officially announced that the Colonials would field an NCAA men's ice hockey team for the 2004–05 season. [ 7 ]
In 1998, the Hillman Company built the Island Sports Center on the western tip of Neville Island. Robert Morris University purchased the Island Sports Center in 2003. The sports center includes a 1,200-seat hockey rink, a golf range, a miniature golf course, athletic fields and a pro shop.
The school's soccer teams both play on the North Athletic Complex, and the hockey teams played their games at the RMU Island Sports Complex, just down the road from the campus on Neville Island. On February 14, 2009, the men's lacrosse team defeated Penn State 12–11 in double overtime in the program's biggest victory at Joe Walton Stadium.

The 2020–21 Robert Morris Colonials men's ice hockey season was the 17th season of play for the program and the 11th season in the Atlantic Hockey conference. The Colonials represented Robert Morris University and were coached by Derek Schooley , in his 17th season.
