Columbia Township Auditorium, also known as Township Auditorium, is a historic auditorium located in Columbia, South Carolina. It was built in 1930 (94 years ago), and is a three-story, brick building with a Doric order columned portico in the Georgian Revival style.
It served as the Washington Township government offices until 1985. [1] In 1989, the township decided to turn the historic building into a performing arts center. [1] Between 1992 and 1996, the building was renovated to include an auditorium, a lobby, rehearsal space, a dance studio, and a scene shop. [1]
