Tamar Bair (21 April 1912 – 13 October 1998), a native of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, was a nursing instructor and nurse in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. [1] An amateur historian and photographer, she documented significant events in the transformation of Bethlehem in the middle of the 20th century using Kodachrome transparencies and other photographic media.
Goodman was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on November 10, 1925, [1] [2] and was educated at Liberty High School. [1]Goodman served in the USAAF for 2.5 years. Kocsis was born in Buffalo, NY, on April 27, 1936, and moved to Bethlehem, PA with his parents at age 6. He began painting at age 12. [7] [8] [9] Kocsis received a four-year scholarship from the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts), where he studied under painter and printmaker Jacob Landau and was influenced by sculptor, draftsman and graphic artist Leonard Baskin.
Additionally, Delgrosso served on the boards of directors of several local organizations, including the Historic Bethlehem Partnership, the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation and the Bethlehem Area Public Library.
