For any one that is worried about being harassed while dropping of your ballot there is a drive up ballot drop box you don't even have to get out of your car, and It is right next to the Multnomah County Elections Division. I would hope no one is going to be harassing voters in front of the elections office.

Edit: just to clarify because some people are not understanding my question, I’m not looking for a drop box. I know where my local ballot drop boxes are. I was specifically asking if a ballot drop box is a mailbox just for ballots. For anyone else wondering, I have learned they are not mailboxes and are collected directly by elections officials.
You must vote your absentee ballot in the Clerk's Office on this day; you will not be able to take the ballot with you. All voted ballots must be received by 8:00 pm on election day in order to be counted.
