London Motors was a Canadian automobile company located in London, Ontario. The company was formed by William Stansell, who was previously involved with the production of the Brock car in Amherstburg, Ontario. [1] In 1921 Stansell raised $75,000 to form London Motors Limited, with a factory located at King and Ridout Streets. [1]

Durant, respectively the biggest carriage builders in Canada and the United States, contracted for Durant's Buick to supply McLaughlin with power trains for 15 years.

The Tudhope firm was sold in 1924 to Cockshutt Plow Company and merged into the Cockshutt Plow owned Canada Carriage and Body Limited of Brantford, Ontario. [4] The Brantford-based firm is now Trailmobile Canada. McLaughlin was taken over by General Motors in 1918 and merged into General Motors of Canada.
