Nicollet Mall station (/ ˈ n ɪ k ə l ɛ t / NIH-kə-let) [2] is a light rail station on the Metro Blue Line and Green Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Adjacent to the light rail platforms is the southbound Metro Orange Line bus rapid transit station Marquette & 5th Street .
The platforms are referred to as 7th Street & Nicollet and 8th Street & Nicollet, respectively. The station is located within the Downtown Minneapolis Fare Zone, where riders can travel in the zone for 50¢ with no transfers. 7th Street & Nicollet is also the westbound/northbound rail replacement bus stop for Nicollet Mall station.
Light rail service connects at Nicollet Mall station at 5th Street, providing access to the Metro Blue Line and Green Line. The Blue Line, opened June 2004, connects to the airport and Mall of America in Bloomington. The Green Line, opened June 2014, connects to the University of Minnesota and downtown Saint Paul.
