However, in July 1971, Fr. Redwick was reassigned to serve as pastor at St. Stanislaus Parish in Detroit. Due to his lingering health issues, Fr. Szymanski formally resigned as pastor in May 1972. Archbishop Dearden then appointed Rev. Stanley Konopka as parish administrator to ensure the continued well-being of the parish.
The Rev. John C. Baker served St. Michael's from 1812 to about 1826. In 1826 he was called to a church in Harrisburg and replaced by the Rev. Benjamin Keller.
