Buckmore Park Kart Circuit is an MSA approved outdoor kart racing circuit located just off junction 3 of the M2 in Chatham, Kent, England. Until his death on 10 March 2017, it was owned by John Surtees , the only person to have won world Grand Prix championships in both Formula One car racing and Grand Prix motorcycle racing .
Buckmore Park Scout Centre is a camping and activity centre located to the south of Chatham in Kent. The site is run by the Medway Towns Scout District of the Scout Association. The site has been used by the Scouts since 1953 and included woodland and the Buckmore Park Kart Circuit, which is run separately.

Club100 is a UK-based "hire kart" karting championship. Senior/Junior karts use identical BirelART chassis, Rotax Junior Max 2 stroke engines and Dunlop KE1 tyres, while the Cadet championship use a smaller BirelART chassis, a smaller Rotax Micro Max 2 stroke engine and Dunlop SL3 tyres, these are provided by the club to an equal standard, putting all competitors on a level playing field.

In the following two years Ticktum competed to drive in local and national championships, which culminated in winning the Buckmore Park Kart Club Winter Series in 2009 and placing second in the National Super One Championship the same year, having competed for Ambition Motorsport. [4] [5]
