The Hogan Cup (Irish: Corn Uí Ógáin), also known as the All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior A Football Championship, is the top level Gaelic football championship for secondary schools (sometimes referred to as colleges) in Ireland. The competition itself is regularly referred to by the trophy's name.
In Gaelic games, the school won All Ireland finals in hurling in 1962, 1967, 1968 and 1973. Other successes include Leinster Hurling and Football championships. The college's more recent victories include the Senior Leinster A Football in 2017 and the Junior Leinster A Hurling 2007/8. The school has teams in basketball, handball and other sports.
St Brendan's is a Catholic Diocesan College, founded in 1860 by bishop David Moriarty as a boarding and day-school for boys under the name of 'St Brendan's Seminary'.
