In 1967, there were two SR 37s on the south side of Indianapolis: one along Bluff Road and one along the Bluff Road bypass. The two did not directly connect at all. [ 15 ] By 1969, SR 37 was multiplexed with US 31 (along Meridian, North, Pennsylvania/Delaware, Madison and East streets) to I-465/I-74 at what is now exit 2.
