I'd personally love to see a new Guitar Hero, going back more to it's original style (or new Rock Band release) for PS5 in the future. Gonna be a long while before the genre fatigue wanes. Activision isn't going to bother making further entries to serve just 1 or 2 hundred thousand people (best case).

It never released on PS4 so it can’t work on PS5. Nope, No Guitar Hero game will work on PS5 except Guitar Hero Live. The guitar in question however will work with Rock Band 4 on PS5. I've been keen to get back into playing guitar hero. Unfortunately I sold my guitar hero 3 and world tour bundles about 8 years ago.
I remember Activision released like 3-4 guitar hero games in one year around the time World Tour released. World Tour released in 2008 and then I think we had Aerosmith, Van Halen, Metallica, and another GH game all in 2009.
Bought a Guitar hero live set for my PS5. The game is PS4, and controller/dongle i dont know what is made for PS3 or PS4. The guitar connects to the dongle but when i start the game no button works. Its like the dongle and PS5 dosent talk. Anyone know how to fix this? i saw now that the dongle is for PS3, maybe thats the problem..
