Brigham Young University's Foreign Language Student Residence (FLSR) program was established in 1978 as a three-house off-campus residence center dedicated to the study of Russian and Italian. [1] Due to the success of these houses, the program expanded from three houses to one specially-designed complex in 1991. [ 2 ]
Helaman Halls is a six building, dormitory style living area. Residents share a room (larger than Heritage Halls) with one other resident, but do not have their own kitchen and use shared bathrooms. Residents are required to have a meal plan, and eat at the newly remodeled Commons at the Cannon Center. [16]

The Joseph Smith Building, also known as the JSB, is a building that houses classrooms and administrative offices at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, United States. The building is named after Joseph Smith , founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints .
The BYU Faculty Center is also located in the Student Center. The counseling center was started in 1946 under BYU President McDonald [2] and moved to the WSC upon the building's completion in 1964. When it was first built the Wilkinson Center had an area of 287,539 square feet. The bookstore was expanded in 1974 with an extension further west.
