The 2016–17 Basketball Bundesliga was the 51st season of the Basketball Bundesliga, the top-tier level of professional club basketball in Germany. The season started on 23 September 2016 and ended on 11 June 2017. [1] The name of the league was changed to easyCredit BBL, after the league signed a sponsor deal until 2021 with easyCredit. [2]
