Killruddery House (also spelled "Kilruddery") is a large country house on the southern outskirts of Bray in County Wicklow, Ireland, approximately 20 km (12 mi) south of Dublin. [1] The present structure is a south-facing multi-bay mansion, originally dating from the 17th century, but remodelled and extended in 1820 in the Elizabethan style.
The house was built in 1904 by rancher David Nichols McBride, who bought the surrounding land in 1904, for $1.50 per acre. [1] The house is made of mortared dolomite, and has two rooms–a kitchen and bedroom, and an incomplete porch.
