Entertainment premiered an English-dubbed version of Stand by Me Doraemon at the Tokyo International Film Festival on 24 October 2014. [ citation needed ] Foreign streaming service Netflix released an English dub of Stand by Me Doraemon 2 in Japan on 6 November 2021 featuring the return of the voice cast of the English dub of the 2005 anime.
Born on 23 February 1971, Ahmad Zulkifli Lubis first worked as a dubber for Arvisco, dubbing telenovelas and Indian films, in 1992. In Indonesia, Global TV was reprimanded by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) for airing the anime television series. Nina Armando, member of the KPI and a lecturer at the University of Indonesia , said the show should not be aired at times when children are likely to watch.
The anime uses six pieces of theme music, two opening themes and four ending themes. In the English dub, an original song is used for the opening theme whilst the end credits used shortened versions of the six Japanese opening and ending themes. The official soundtrack was released in Japan by Aniplex on June 27, 2007.
